13 Demons
They discover a medieval board game named "13 Demons" by chance. This leads them to discover the game has a dark history and has been outlawed in most countries for odd reasons, including unsolved deaths. The goal is to rid Darkhaven of the Apocalypse Demons. That the 13 Demons are currently walking the Earth disguised as humans is not known to them. A holy mission to preserve the world, the game slowly consumes them. In truth, they are in much over their heads, but the news reports a number of local murders caused by assailants using baseball bats, hammers, etc.
