It's Christmas time. Upon entering the room, a little girl is met by a Christmas tree covered in toys. In the blink of an eye, she's playing with the new dolls instead of her old one. She does, however, have a dream that night. What if it's a dream? (IMDb) With no dialogue or sound effects, and no Santa Claus, the Czech version's soundtrack was solely instrumental. When MGM released the picture in the United States, they changed the original tune to a cheesy Hollywood production number, added an American-style Santa Claus to the scene, and gave the doll a pip-squeaky voice.
