If you're Vivienne Wake, who is in charge of a country music Christmas special that features newcomer Alexis, you don't let your emotions get in the way. The ghost of Marilyn comes to visit her on the verge of taking a job in Los Angeles. She meets her childhood sweetheart, Gavin Chase, who is also the manager of the show's main star, Belinda. It's a bad idea for her to keep going in the direction she's going. Her mentor has hired both the Spirit of Christmas Past and the Spirit of Christmas Present to help her get back on track.
