Alice's Adventures in Wonderland (Royal Opera House)
For the Royal Ballet at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, Christopher Wheeldon made a full-length ballet. based on Lewis Carroll's well-known Alice in Wonderland story. Alice is an ordinary girl who falls down a rabbit hole and has an amazing adventure. The music is by Joby Talbot, and the designs are by the world-renowned Bob Crowley. It's Lauren Cuthbertson, from the Royal Ballet, who dances Alice. Simon Russell-Beale, a British actor, plays the Duchess in a cameo role, and he is very good.
