Apartment 1303
While celebrating with her friends in her newly rented flat on the thirteenth level of a building (with balcony and view of the sea), the young Sayaka impulsively jumps off the balcony, committing herself. Her mother becomes insane, and her older sister, Mariko, starts to look into her sister's unexplained death. She discovers that numerous young ladies have committed themselves in apartment 1303. She discovers a book detailing the tragic story of Yukiyo and her mother, the apartment's first inhabitants, and unearths the truth about the suicides.
