Artifact is an American documentary movie from 2012 that was directed by Jared Leto under the name Bartholomew Cubbins, a character from the world of Dr. Seuss. The movie is a documentary about how 30 Seconds to Mars made their album This Is War and how they fought with their record label, EMI. There are several interviews in Artifact, including one with neurophysicist and author of the popular science book This Is Your Brain on Music, Daniel Levitin. At the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, the film earned the BlackBerry People's Choice Documentary Award.
