By bringing the mummified body of Tara, the Egyptian Queen of Darkness, back to England, two Egyptologists, Professor Fuchs and Corbeck, are responsible in unleashing unmitigated terror. The daughter of Fuchs becomes entangled in a sequence of bizarre and horrifying episodes, powerless against the forces of darkness, led by Corbeck, that are possessing her body and spirit to fulfill the old prophecy that Queen Tara will be revived to resume her reign of awful evil.
