Phoenix is a man who has been sentenced to the vast and limitless jail of the Mojave desert. He lives alone in a house that is as far removed from the rest of the world as possible. Phoenix is a one-trick pony who only does one thing well: he digs holes. Every month, he digs a hole in the middle of nowhere and buryes something in the ground. It is only when the delivery is made by the gorgeous and perplexed Ariel, rather than his dependable mailman, that Phoenix's life is thrown into disarray, and he is forced to confront the consequences of his actions, from which there will be no way to escape.
