Dru Cassadine, a hard-hearted New York novelist known for her holiday romance stories (despite the fact that she is anti-love and anti-Christmas), is desperate to regain her mojo after a string of flops (and a not-so-subtle threat from her publisher that he will drop her if she has another failure)... She decides that a change of environment could help to stimulate her creative impulses, so she travels to the southern United States for the winter, settling in a town called as Harbor Pointe. The result is that she doesn't exactly receive what she came for. She receives far more than she bargained for.
