Deep Dark Canyon
Bloom Towne is a small-town sheriff who serves at the pleasure of Mayor Dick Cavanaugh's family. Bloom's long-held fealty to the ruling Cavanaugh clan is put to the test when his two teenage boys, Nate and Skylar, inadvertently shoot and kill Dick during a deer hunt. Skylar (who is still a kid) takes the fall for his elder brother Nate, claiming he fired the fatal shot. Skylar is sent to county jail, where he will soon face an adult trial as a result of the Cavanaugh family's swift retribution. Nate breaks Skylar out of jail out of desperation and puts in motion a series of criminal activities that sends them deep into the woods and on the run. Bloom's conflicted relationship with the law and his boys results in the exposure of long-buried family secrets that threaten to destroy all he holds dear.
