When John Brock returns from a trip to the caves in rural Kentucky, he can't find a mysterious relic that his family has been looking for for years. A bird-like creature from ancient folklore that is very dangerous starts to appear in John's dreams as soon as he gets home. Soon, John finds out that the cave he came across on his last trip was the cave that holds the relic and is also a portal to Hell and a place of worship for the Occult. To stop the visions from becoming more real, John decides to go back to the cave with his family, find the relic once and for all, and destroy it. This way, the visions will stop.
