Sarah, who has been abused, is broke, and down on her luck, is given a new lease on life when she moves into a new apartment. At first, Sarah appears to have made the correct decision; she even makes several new acquaintances, including Sid (Jason Mewes). When Sarah and Sid go looking for their tenants, they discover a villain plotting to take over not only their building, but the entire city. The bitter and vengeful spirit begins entering the bodies of the tower's occupants, turning them into bloodthirsty zombies, while Sarah and Sid fight for survival.
