Dirty Pretty Things
One of the most popular gathering and flashpoints for legal and illegal immigrants striving to build new lives in a new nation is an urban hotel in central London. In addition to Okwe, a Nigerian doctor who works as a night porter at the hotel, the immigrants also include Senay, a Turkish woman. A front for all kinds of illegal operations is discovered by the couple at the hotel. There is nothing more they want than to avoid deportation. When Okwe is asked to repair a toilet in one of the rooms, he becomes even more enmeshed in the drama unfolding around him. He discovers that a human heart has clogged the pipes in the bathroom.
