A Mexican outlaw known as "The Stranger" is part of a gang that steals gold from a stagecoach. The Americans in the band, however, betray him and shoot all of the Mexicans. The Stranger, on the other hand, is not completely dead, and crawls his way out of his shallow grave, continuing his pursuit of the gold and exacting a bloody vengeance.
