In one night, an Edinburgh travel agent misplaces both his keys and his fiancée. As a joke, a friend finds the keys and makes a lot of copies with his address attached. She gives them to him as he prepares to leave on vacation. He gives the keys to a number of women he meets across the continent. He gets engaged again over the phone and arranges to meet his fiancée at his apartment, but the apartment isn't empty.
