Easter Parade
Don Hewes is devastated the day before Easter in 1911 when his dancing partner Nadine Hale refuses to begin a new contract with him. By hiring a new protegee, Don demonstrates that Nadine no longer matters to him by promising to turn her into a celebrity in time for next year's Easter parade, which Nadine will not be able to attend.
