To be the leader of a country is said to be the most lonely job in the world. That's not all, though. Being the son or daughter of a world leader can make things even worse. It's impossible to be normal when you're always surrounded by security officers, aren't allowed to move freely, and have almost all of your waking moments closely monitored. Luke Davenport, the son of U.S. President Davenport, knows this better than anyone else, but he is still young. He yells at his Secret Service agent because he is lonely, frustrated, and feels isolated from his family and friends. It breaks when the agent is under so much stress in front of the First Lady. Luke is given a new agent to work with. He turns out to be the huge Sam Simms, a bit of a rogue who rose through the Secret Service ranks because of his hard work, not because of strict rules. Luke first attempts all of his old techniques on Sam. However, rather than becoming enraged, Sam appears to understand.
