Five Minarets in New York
On a mission to identify and return the dangerous Islamic leader dubbed "Dajjal," who is believed to be hiding in New York City, two Turkish anti-terrorist agents are dispatched to that location and given the task of bringing him back. As part of a collaboration with the FBI and the New York Police Department, the agents orchestrate the arrest of Hadji Gumus, a well-respected Muslim scholar and family man who had fled to the United States several years earlier after being released from a Turkish prison where he had served time for murder. As we journey through this story of love and friendship, peace and prejudice, we are asked whether innocence or guilt even matters to someone who lusts for vengeance, and the response is "it does not."
