Caroline and Brad Sexton are rich New Yorkers with marital and financial issues. When they discover that their accountant has embezzled millions of dollars and placed the blame on them, the latter issue becomes urgent. Brad and Caroline resolve to dodge the IRS by posing as Amish in a Pennsylvania Amish community after being forced to flee the law. As the two adjust to the modest Amish lifestyle, they begin to reconnect.
