When Lauren Slaughter works at the Arab-Anglo Institute in London, she's a research fellow. She's very unhappy with her job, though. To make extra money, she moonlights at the Jasmine Escort Service, where she has more control over men and money than she does at her job at the office. On one of her "dates," Lauren meets the politician Lord Bulbeck, who is trying to help the Arabs and the Israelis come to a peace deal. Love blossoms between Bulbeck and his escort, and unwittingly, Lauren becomes a pawn in some very shady politics, too.
