Heaven Can Wait
Joe Pendleton is a quarterback who is set to lead his team to the Super Bowl when he is involved in an accident that puts his life in danger. Once in heaven, he is greeted by an overanxious angel who discovers that he was not prepared to die and that his body has been incinerated. This time, the corpse of a recently slain millionaire is picked as the fresh body to be discovered. His wife and accountant, who were the murderers, are perplexed by this revelation, as he purchases the Los Angeles Rams in order to quarterback them to another Super Bowl victory.
