HONDROS follows the life and career of renowned war photographer Chris Hondros, delving into the poignant and often surprising stories behind some of the world's most famous photographs. Chris was among the first in a new generation of war photographers since Vietnam, inspired by a desire to bear witness to our time's wars following the events of 9/11. HONDROS delves into the complexities of covering a decade of conflict while attempting to live a normal life. It also investigates the unknowable calculus involved in making split-second life-and-death decisions – before, during, and after his photographs were taken. Chris was assassinated in Libya in 2011, but he left an indelible mark on his field that is still felt today.
