Since the passing of his best buddy Johnny, the nomad Eddie Lomax, played by Jean-Claude Van Damme, has been mired in a depression that borders on suicide ideation (Danny Trejo). As Lomax rides his motorcycle towards a small desert town that Johnny once called home, he is ambushed by a group of roughs who beat him and take his motorcycle. However, Lomax is not the type of man to remain passive in the face of wrongdoing, and it is not long before he begins exacting a violent revenge on the men who stole his motorcycle. Along the way, he is assisted by a local handyman named Jubal Early (played by Pat Morita) and a number of local women who offer aid and comfort.
