Jesus Christ Superstar
The movie was based on the rock opera of the same name, which was about the last weeks of Jesus' life before he was crucified. It was nominated for an Academy Award. Norman Jewison was in charge of making the movie. For their roles as Jesus and Judas, Ted Neeley and Carl Anderson were each nominated for two Golden Globe Awards in 1974.
