Johnny Kapahala - Back on Board

Johnny Kapahala, a teenage snowboarding champion from Vermont, travels to Oahu, Hawaii, for the wedding of his hero, local surf legend Johnny Tsunami, as well as to ride a few of the world-famous waves on Kauai. Johnny Kapahala is Johnny's grandfather. When Johnny arrives, he is introduced to his new family, including his "Uncle Chris," a 12-year-old boy who is the son of his new step-grandmother who is opposed to the impending marriage. Chris's sole goal in life is to become a member of a mountain-boarding crew that is commanded by a bully of the same age. Soon after Johnny's grandfather and his new wife opened a surf store that catered to mountain boarders as well as surfers, they were drawn into a turf war with the owner of a competing shop who wanted to drive them out of business.
