Following the occurrences of Justice League: War, Ocean Master and Black Manta have declared war on the surface in order to get revenge for the consequences of Apokoliptian-tyrant Darkseid's invasion of the Earth. In an effort to bring about equilibrium, Queen Atlanna searches for her other son, who happens to be the Ocean Master's half-brother Arthur Curry. Arthur Curry is a half-human with aquatic powers and has no idea of his Atlantean origin. Curry takes measures to accept his destiny, joining the Justice League, and fighting with his new colleagues to save Earth from complete catastrophe. Living with powers he doesn't comprehend and seeing the danger that surrounds him, Curry takes efforts to embrace his destiny.
