Seymour Krelborn is a nerdy orphan who works at Mushnik's, an urban Skid Row flower shop. He has a crush on coworker Audrey Fulquard and is constantly criticized by Mr. Mushnik. One day, while searching for a new odd plant, Seymour discovers a very mysterious, unnamed plant that he names Audrey II. The plant appears to have a desire for blood and begins to sing shortly thereafter.
