San Antonio, TX is the setting for a comedic Sci-Fi/Horror movie called "Lowriders vs. Zombies from Space." "B" low-budget movies made in the 1980s and 1990s are a big influence on this movie, but it also has a modern twist on the old style. They are going to go to a dance that night. The story follows them through the day as they get ready. There is a strange substance that comes into the dance and turns a few people into "zombies" from space. Everything goes crazy inside and outside of the dance hall after that. People who drive lowriders have to fight off these alien zombies with their cars, which are their main source of strength.
