This is the first documentary to look back over Lydia Lunch's whole career and show how her work has been confronting, acerbic, and always electric. As the most famous No Wave artist from the late 1970s in New York City, Lunch has spent a lifetime making music and spoken word performances about a woman's right to indulge, seek pleasure, and say "fuck you!" as loudly as any man. In a time when women are constantly being attacked, this is a call to recognize that art is the only thing that can bring us together and heal all of our wounds.
