Mighty Joe Young
As a youngster growing up in Africa, Jill Young witnessed the murder of her mother by poachers led by Andrei Strasser, when her mother was protecting wild gorillas from capture. Now that she is an adult, Jill takes care of an orphaned gorilla named Joe. Joe is 15 feet tall because of a mistake in his genes. When Gregg O'Hara comes from California and sees the animal, he tells Jill that Joe would be safest at his wildlife refuge. Strasser follows them to the United States, though, because he wants to get Joe for himself.
