Mob Town
In upstate New York in 1957, there was an event known as the infamous "mob summit," which was documented in the film. More than 50 leaders of organized crime syndicates from throughout the country gathered in the tranquil town to discuss impending growth plans, which were spearheaded by Vito Genovese. They are thwarted when local police trooper Ed Croswell learns of the mob's operations and exposes them to the general public in the United States. In doing so, Croswell's actions put light on the vast network of corruption that existed and forever altered the landscape of law enforcement.
