As a father, Jeff Voth has taken his sons and other groups of men on a hiking trip every year for the past 35 years. This trip has become a legendary, masculine standard for other people to try to achieve in their lives. In this event, these men learned how to fish for trout, got very tired, and shared very personal things with each other in an alpine setting that was both beautiful and scary at the same time. People who went on the trip would tell you that they have been forever changed, that they have been forged into a deeper and healthier masculine place, and that they have become better men because of the trip.
