Noboru is a low-key high school student. He idolizes senior student Miyazaki, who is one of the most popular boys at school. Momose and Tetsuko are two of Miyazaki's girlfriends. Momose and Tetsuko are diametrically opposed individuals. Tetsuko is a popular student from a wealthy family, and Momose is a bright student. Miyazaki is discovered with Momose one day. Miyazaki asks Noboru and Momose to pretend to be dating in order to keep his relationship with Tetsuko. They both agree because they adore Miyazaki.
