My Stepmother is an Alien

A stunning alien being by the name of Celeste travels to Earth in an effort to find a way to prevent the destruction of her home planet. Here, she begins her investigation in the hopes of finding a solution. She pursues a relationship with the eccentric scientist Dr. Steve Mills, who is a widower with a young daughter. In a short amount of time, Celeste falls in love with Steve and her new existence on Earth, where for the first time in her life she experiences genuine closeness. Both of these things contribute to her falling in love. But when she can't find her way back to her goal, she starts to wonder if she even belongs anywhere.
