My Way
For Jun-shik, who works as a farmhand for Tatsuo's grandpa while Korea is under Japanese colonization, the goal is to run in the Tokyo Olympics. The two men become rivals because Tatsuo wants to run marathons and Tatsuo wants to run triathlons. As a result of the conflict, they are both compelled to sign up for the military. After being promoted to chief of defense in Jun-squad, shik's Tatsuo comes up with an idea, but it proves to be a failure. The Soviets have captured Jun-shik and Tatsuo. They try to flee, but the Germans catch up with them and compel them to separate. Their paths cross once more in 1944, on the beaches of Normandy.
