Nairobi Half Life
Mwas, a young aspiring actor from upcountry Kenya, dreams of becoming an accomplished actor one day, and in pursuit of this, he travels to Nairobi, the city of opportunity. He quickly realizes why Nairobi is nicknamed Nairrobery, as he has lost all of his money and possessions and is alone in a city where he knows no one. Mwas meets the city's criminals and strikes up a friendship with a small-time crook who takes him in. As he struggles to pursue his dream of becoming an actor, he is quickly drawn into the world of crime. Keeping the two worlds separate proves difficult for Mwas as he enters the unknown world of Nairobi.
