Nasty Baby
Nasty Baby follows Freddy and his lover Mo, a Brooklyn couple who are trying to have a baby with the help of their best friend, Polly. Freddy is an artist, and his most recent work is all about babies, indicating that he is desperate to become a father. Polly is a family physician who is more concerned with having a child than with finding a husband. Mo is wary about the whole thing, especially now that Polly is having trouble with Freddy's sperm and the donor obligation has shifted to him. The three navigates the idea of generating life when they are met with unexpected harassment by a particularly hostile neighborhood resident, nicknamed The Bishop, set nearly entirely amid the multicultural liveliness of Fort Greene, Brooklyn. The Bishop annoys you in minor but persistent ways, and there's a whiff of danger in his demeanor. Someone is going to get wounded as their fights become more intense.
