Night Catches Us
Before the 1960s were over, Marcus was a Black Panther. When he came back to Philadelphia in 1976 and saw Pat, a widow of a Panther leader, he was surprised to see her. Manus makes friends with Pat's little girl and tries to get rid of his own demons, too. In the way of Marcus's good intentions are the neighborhood's ongoing racial and social conflicts, and old enemies and friends, both of whom have a lot of bad things to settle.
