OLD FASHIONED is a love drama about Clay Walsh, a former frat boy who quits drinking and now manages an antique shop in a small Midwestern college town. He is well-known for his lofty and out-of-date beliefs about love and romance there. When Amber Hewson, a restless young woman, moves into the neighborhood and rents the flat above his business, she is strangely drawn to his noble views, which are new and exciting to her. Clay, despite his best efforts to reject and deny it, can't help but be drawn to her spontaneous and enthusiastic love of life. As the two of them attempt the impossible: a "old-fashioned" courtship in contemporary America, Clay must finally step out from behind his relational theories, and Amber must overcome her own insecurities and deep traumas.
