Before she had her Ouija board experience, which resulted in the release of a demonic entity, Sara appeared to be living an apparently normal life in the city. Sara is compelled to commit murder against one of her family members or loved ones by the spirit, who wishes for her to relive its torturous history. Even though Sara fights against the spirit's threats and tries to stand up to the power, she is forced to choose between either watching her loved ones perish in a cascade or obeying the spirit and killing only one of them personally, like the spirit had done to her own son years earlier. The only option for Sara is to either kill only one person while dealing with the guilt and sorrow of murder, or to stand by and watch everyone around her perish.
