Darcy has always worked hard to establish herself and achieve success on her own terms, even going so far as to start her own company rather than continuing to work for her father. In her hometown for Christmas, Darcy rekindles an old foe, restaurant owner Luke, and the two are compelled to collaborate on a charity event. As Darcy spends more time with her family and with Luke, she begins to understand what is truly important in life, and she sets out to repair her connection with her father, as well as to maybe fall in love in the process.
