The UK is brought to its knees after a zombie apocalypse breaks out in a London prison. The virus's progress is momentarily halted, but without a treatment, it'll only be a matter of time until it spreads further, posing the most serious dilemma of all: any zombies with combat abilities will now be strengthened. With the South East of England sealed off from the rest of the world by hardened borders, intelligence discovers that the outbreak's mastermind is still alive and well in London. With his survival the sole possibility of a cure, a team of eight Special Forces soldiers is dispatched on a suicide mission to the city, which is now dominated by the undead, with a single purpose: to get him out alive in 72 hours by any means necessary. What emerges is an unexpected duo on a mission to save humanity in the face of mounting obstacles.
