Resting Place
In1972, Rockville, Georgia, was the setting for a television movie. Lieutenant Dwyte Johnson, a Vietnam War hero, has been found dead in this peaceful small hamlet by Major Kendall Laird, a Survival Assistance Officer. It's Laird's responsibility to assist Johnson's parents in their final act of grief. The town's "all-white" cemetery refuses to allow the parents of the dead hero because they are black.
