Romasanta
A fear is stalking the land: individuals are disappearing on a daily basis, and their bodies are turning up covered in terrible gashes and surgical incisions that are precise in their execution. Allariz's werewolf legend has spread across the country like wildfire, terrifying people and causing them to flee their homes. When Barbara (Elsa Pataky) falls in love with traveling vendor Manuel Romasanta, she is first enamored with him - but she quickly grows wary of him and decides to leave him alone. It is unclear what has happened to her sister, who, after being taken to the city by Romasanta, appears to have vanished without a trace.
