In response to an invasion attempt by a rival nation, the Song Dynasty's ruler dispatches commander Yang Ye (Adam Cheng) to protect the nation. Yang's position in the court, on the other hand, is precarious because of a quarrel with Pan Renmei that arose as a result of the accidental death of Pan Renmei's son at the hands of one of Yang's sons. While fighting, Yang's troops quit him, leaving him trapped in the face of an onslaught by Yeli Yuan (Shao Bing), an enemy general seeking to revenge his father's death by murdering Yang. Yang Ye's seven sons set out to save their father at whatever cost after learning of their father's condition.
