In "Scooby Doo: Music of the Vampire," Scooby and the crew encounter their first musical mystery. A road trip across bayou country to attend the "Vampire-Palooza Festival"–an outdoor event dedicated to everything Dracula–sets the tone for the rest of their adventures to come. When a real live vampire comes to life and breaks from his coffin, things appear to be going well for them. However, things quickly turn sour when a real live vampire comes to life and threatens the entire town. This baritone blood sucker also appears to be set on taking Daphne as his vampire bride, which is a major turnoff. Is it possible that the vampire is a descendent of a well-known vampire hunter who is attempting to market his book? He might also be the local politician who has been attempting to establish himself in the media by decrying vampires as being "downright unwholesome" in his attacks on them. It is during a final song-filled confrontation in the marsh that our heroes uncover one of their most horrific beasts to date that they will find the answers.
