Scrooge
Alastair Sim plays Ebenezer Scrooge, a mean-spirited miser who lives a happy life until Christmas Eve, when he is visited by three ghosts. The spirits show him how his actions over the years have made him an angry, lonely old man, and how his heart has grown colder. The ghosts of Scrooge's past, present, and future do their best to soften his hard heart. Ebenezer Scrooge learns the error of his ways thanks to the ghost of his former partner and the three spirits. Just in time for the holidays, he makes everyone's lives a little brighter, including his own. (The title has changed to "A Christmas Carol")
