Shaft
John Shaft, a New York City police detective, detains Walter Wade Jr. for a racially motivated murder. However, Wade, the only person who saw what happened, has vanished. He's back in court two years later with the confidence that his money and connections would get him off the hook, especially since the witness had been paid to be killed by an underworld drug lord.
