Alex Belli (Bova) is a 37-year-old advertising executive whose fiancée Elena has recently left him and who is struggling to come up with a suitable advertising campaign for a new Japanese product. Niki is an energetic 17-year-old student. She has three best friends with whom she discusses her concerns, as well as an obnoxious ex-boyfriend, Fabio, who is determined to win her back, but Niki is not interested.
