In the eight years since the release of the third film, the OSS has become the premier intelligence agency in the world, while the Spy Kids division has been disbanded. Marissa (Jessica Alba) and her stepchildren are thrust back into action as a crazed Timekeeper (Jeremy Piven) attempts to take over the planet. Rebecca (Rowan Blanchard) and Cecil (Mason Cook) must join forces with their despised stepmother in order to save the planet. Since then, Carmen and Juni have also matured and will supply them with technology.
